Our Class in Bookland!!

Our Book Week with"CATS" has been lots of fun. Thank you to the parents who came to read to the class-the children loved having you.
We have read lots of 'Cat' books and done a variety of activities. We are creating our own 'Cat' characters.

Romanian Children

Ben van Shreven's Mum came into our class to tell us about work she does with children in a home in Romania. She is going there at the end of the week and asked whether the children would be interested in drawing pictures to put together into a booklet for the children. We have put together some simple pictures for her to take with her. May be a holiday project for our students could be to spend more time on a picture or booklet to send over. The children are 4-7 years old.

Book Week

We are having fun in class this week with our Book week topic "CATS".
We are enjoying having parents into class to read to us.
Friday will be "Dress Up Day"-it will be fun to see all the Fancy dress costumes.

SUPERB EFFORT EVERYONE!!
Our item went very well this afternoon-the children had less than a week to put it together and limited opportunities to practise. We are very proud of the effort they put into it, their positive attitude and willingness to give it a go.
Keep up this attitude and we will have a great year!
